Some 450,000 Nicaraguans failed to legalize status

SAN JOSE - Upon yesterday's expiration of the period granted by the Government of Costa Rica for some half a million illegal Nicaraguans to legalize their immigration status, only close to 50,000 of the foreigners had complied with the requirements.
